Hewlett Packard has been rolling out program after program aimed at assisting small businesses more effectively utilize technology to grow their organizations. We talk with HP's John Dayan to get their take on the challenges small businesses are facing with respect to technology, and learn how HP Small Business Connection, along with utilizing Web 2.0 tools, is helping HP to more effectively communicate with small businesses. John also fills us in on how HP is working with SCORE on educating small businesses on the importance of disaster recovery and data backup, a very timely issue on the heels of the devastating fires taking place in southern California.
John Dayan is vice president of Marketing and Business Development for the Personal Systems Group in the Americas region at HP. He is responsible for driving the marketing strategy, programs, advertising, external and internal communications across the region, as well as managing key alliances with Microsoft, Intel, AMD and wireless service providers. Additionally, his team is responsible for group strategy and business planning.
