ATLANTA,
GA -- March 2, 2009 -- RenovoData, Inc., a remote backup company headquartered
in Atlanta, Georgia, has met the Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council
(GMSDC) requirements as a minority owned and controlled company, as defined by
the National Minority Supplier Development Council (NMSDC) and the GMSDC Board
of Directors. As a result, the GMSDC has
awarded RenovoData with the 2009 Minority Business Enterprise (MBE)

award for the present year. There are currently
a total of 542 certified minority owned businesses in Georgia, and over 3,500
corporations throughout the U.S.
Benefits
afforded by the GMSDC include corporate and MBE matching, minority business
development, and MBE certification. The
GMSDC is a non-profit organization
comprised of a network of corporate members and certified minority business
enterprises, and serves as a credible source for identifying and accessing
qualified minority suppliers. The
mission of the GMSDC is to foster and expand mutually beneficial economic opportunities
between certified MBEs, corporations, and government entities within the state
of Georgia; and to help build a stronger, more equitable society by supporting
and promoting minority business development.
“We are
very delighted and honored to have been granted this recognition from GMSDC, “
stated Lynn Do, President and CEO of RenovoData, Inc. “ This is a significant achievement for our
company that positions us for growth by providing the opportunities to expand our
business and enhance our competitive infrastructure through increased exposure.
We are eager to become more involved
within the business community and excited to be acknowledged as a reputable
minority supplier.”
RenovoData
will be sponsoring the upcoming Business Opportunity Expo (BOE), an annual
conference hosted by GMSDC, which takes place March 18 at the Georgia
